I got through a lot of good times and hard times this year so a new year, a new goddamned life awaits for 2009.
I'm not expecting what the fucking hell will happen to me on the coming year so I just let time pass by. No resolutions for me, I'll just keep it to myself in the meantime.

Before the year ends, here are some of the first three bosses from Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin (recorded on the living room with the lights out so it gets a better fucking view).
vs. Dullahan
I evaded most of his damn attacks especially on the attached head which does shitbricking damage. The sword wave can be eveaded easily by moving on the top ledges available. The head is immune to all attacks but gets stunned making attachments impossible to perform on the armor so Rock Strike/Rock Riot on Full Charge is a must or you can use Jonathan here and use the Axe Sub-Weapon on the head (but be careful on the MP cost of it!) while attacking Rusty.
vs. Behemoth
This guy is one tough nut to evade unless if he doesn't corner you enough, just cast Full Charge Ice Needle then get close to him. Just hold the casting if he's not in there (or backdash to cancel the spell) but don't get too close to him or else you'll end up getting hit in the feet. Keep those Ice Needle on Full Charge so it gets better damage.
vs. Keremet
I provided 2 videos here: One using White Fang/Ice Fang (top) and the other is Ice Needle (bottom). Both of them do decent damage but I found Ice Needle a bit faster. Move the cauldron on the right (not too much right, just beside the ledge) then move to the topmost of the ledge and use Jonathan to attack and provoke the cauldron. Make sure you hit him when his fucking green face appears then cast those Ice spells away!
So there we go, the next batch will be later or tomorrow.
As 2008 closes it curtains, 2009 will be a brand new start to all (or maybe not)...

Before you start smacking the cauldron, push it all the way to the right beside the ledges then have your partner act as a bait to attack the cauldron then jump to the very top of the ledge behind. I used FCWF (Full Charged White Fang) here to do the job and yeah, it keeps to miss some of the hits as I didn't see it. XD
Rinse and repeat, checkmate!

I tried various ways of slapping him but I ended up getting killed (due to Death Ring) and has to use Inire Rapidus instead to counter-act the mini sickles that fly through but it didn't, sadly much.
So instead I had to come up with a stupid idea: Light and Dark Union+Dominus Angor/Dominus Agony+ Death Ring = insane damage. I had to equip Magician Ring for an extra punch.
Activate Dominus the moment Death is on the screen so if you activate it very early, expect your HP whittling down while Death does his intro. Anyways, pull off the union then wait a slight sec and input it again. The moment you press quickly the union, no damage will be dealt so after Death got hit, wait then give it a go again.
And you just made him a quick and easy death!
I just pulled off a cheap-ass shit on him but that's only him. Eligor, however, will be a hard ass to deal with so...I ain't doin' it again.

Since I'm slow in evading that monster's jump, I let my twin did the dirty job on this one.
Weak against Slash, Fire and Light.
Charlotte's Ice Needle is a must on this one and it does pretty decent damage when FC (Full Charge) compare to RF (Raging Fire) and RS (Rock Strike). So when the fight begins, cast FCIN (Full Charge Ice Needle) and while the needles aren't launched yet, get close to the beast (not very close or else you'll be hit if he advances) and stick it, once the needles are gone, cast it and do the same thing. When he's about to charge, stand on the platform and wait for him to charge at you then jump. While he's off the screen, move a bit to the right then cast FCIN but hold it down if he's not on the screen yet then when he's in cast it up and quickly backdash while the spell is in effect.
With the big guy down, checkmate!

lol yeah, I'm currently using FireFox 3 as my browser after IE7 damaged me much...
The last time I used this browser when I was still in the Philippines, going to Internet Cafes on vacant school times (hell yeah) especially on GigaBox (GBox R'OKnights!1!1!), they have this thing as their browser so it was fun to use it. The malware problem is still in FF (IE, can't you just leave your damages on this poor thing?), I can't fucking access my school site. xD
The Cbox was already back yesterday so as adding a clock for random purposes.

It took me a lot of tries just not to lag and read his patterns XD
So here, did a boss fight on CV: Gallery of Labyrinth again Dullahan and used Charlotte for this (Jonathan's useless lol) thus spamming RS (Rock Strike) at max charge though RF (Raging Fire) is also decent but I like RS instead. Connecting RS enough will unable to connect the flying head over that headless body but if he does, however, connects...start running left and right just to avoid the incoming attacks then slide when the head is in the hand of the body, peforming the spread blast. If you also see him goes in a lower position, he'll jump and perform his ground blade attack so slide when he jumps.
He's weak against Strike, Lightning and Whip.
And the co- I mean, Charlotte just finished kicking that big-tin man's ass with her magic. >3
Thunder Cross Gattai did crap damage and yes, Jonathan's fucking useless (and slow at the same time). :D
I'm having issues with the laptop right now so you might see some of the sections on the side navigations are removed but not to worry, I'll be putting them back after I'm done dealing with these.

Uploaded 3 bosses. One is pure awesomecity, one is a pussy while the other is total hell...all description were copy-pasted from YT.
One of the most tedious boss I ever encountered.
In the start, I provided 2 files showing you that I am currently working on them for boss fights. I had to work on this first before 753IXA.
Then again, this crab is weak to Strike so Macir/Burusare will work here or if you're not comfortable, go for Falcis/Falcus. Stay on the near left and drop down on the mini-ledge then start spamming it. If he ever sticks his right arm down, jump and he'll go ballista. The first and second thrusts can be avoided if you stay put but on the third however, lure him a bit then quickly backdash so he attacks the position you were before.
The second phase is the same as the first one. The third...well, just stay on the top ledge when he does the wall slap.
And therefore, quickly cling your way up to the top, on to the elevator and say bye-bye to Mr. Krabbs.

Do I need to describe this one?
This guy had many issues to me so I had to retry a lot to read his patterns.
Instead of Nitesco/Nitens, I switched to Ignis (though Vol Ignis dealt like 58 unlike Ignis which is 63) then equipped Onyx Pins to reduce Dark attacks since most of Blackmore's attacks deal Dark Damage. Also, equip Ruby Ring and other INT boosting accessories to input higher damage then Inire Sapies/Sapiens Fio for extra service.
On start, I started spamming Ignis then Glyph Gousei while he advances little by little then when he says "なかなか楽しみのかい!", attack him more then start evading his 3-hit combo (a pattern of high, low, high) while attacking and using Glyph Gousei after he finishes attacking.
Soon enough, he'll go down in no time flat!
Since the next area after Blackmore, it'll be a long stretch before facing off Eligor so maybe I'll work on G12ENJIN for the meantime.

Anyways, this guy is a cheater-peter if you decided to fight him behind so what you'll gonna do is to face him and slap him with Macir/Burusare. Just keep on attacking and don't let him hit you if you're cornered. If he steps back, he'll do a belly flop so follow him and slide quickly if he jumps then attach to the magnet and fling you back in front.
With him defeated, Checker Flag baby!

I seriously had a hard time dodging Globus so absorbing it is the best way rather than waiting for it to evade. Then I loose my timings on the ice, which stuns me all the time, giving less time to recover free. Just Rider Kick him in the noggin' if he does that for a wee bit extra damage. If he shouts "死ね、シャノア！", start moving around and double jump it five times, if you didn't time it right, you'll end up as a punching bag.
I have assloads of quests before tackling the huge-ass castle so it's best to work those first before moving on.

I swear to lord, this game is damn great! Even no-damage win during boss fight nets you a boss medal which is a new challenge for me! I made a new game via second file (G12ENJIN) in order to record some boss fights then the latter (753IXA) will be resumed. This first boss is a pussy but tad annoying when it spews out the web from above and make sure you use Magnes/Circulus once it curls and runs around.
If you take damage, load the file and do it again. Though it may take a few tries to get it right...
We used Camtasia Studio 5 (can be downloaded at PS2ISO) for the emulation recording of this game.
